As a mama of three, I know the challenge of getting kids to eat nourishing and healthy foods, which is why I have loved finding creative ways to make foods for my kids that support their nutrition and taste just as good as their favorite ice cream or milkshake. I have been in the wellness space for over 20 years and have even launched a line of superfood + adaptogen blends and ever since I was pregnant with my first, crafting treats for my whole family to enjoy has been a passion.

There are SO many protein powders and shakes in the wellness space, but from my experience, it’s hard to find protein blends and supplements without any fillers that I feel GOOD about giving my children and their growing bodies. That's why I'm so excited to share this perfect solution that not only satisfies their taste buds but also provides them with the essential nutrients they need to grow strong and healthy.

WHY PROTEIN IS IMPORTANT FOR KIDS

Protein is vital for growing bodies. It helps build muscles, supports the immune system, and keeps kids feeling full and satisfied. Including a protein-packed smoothie in their diet can be an easy and effective way to meet their nutritional needs.

THE STAR INGREDIENTS

I’m SO excited to have discovered Naked Nutrition Kid’s Daily Essentials which were created to give kids an option for kid’s health that is gluten-free, soy free, GMO free and has NO artificial flavors or additives.

I have created my line of superfood blends that also delivers the highest quality ingredients for well-rounded nourishment and I love that I found a company that caters to children’s health with these same values.

We have been making this smoothie non-stop in our home all summer and my youngest is OBSESSED!

MAKE THIS CHOCO-VANILLA BANANA SMOOTHIE

Gather This:

1 scoop Naked Nutrition Kid’s Vanilla Shake Mix

1 scoop Naked Nutrition Kid’s Chocolate Shake Mix

1 ripe banana

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)

1 tbsp peanut butter (optional)

½ cup Greek yogurt

1 cup ice cubes

Do This:

In a blender, add the almond milk, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Then, add the banana, peanut butter (if using), and add one scoop each of Naked Nutrition Vanilla Shake Mix and Chocolate Shake Mix.

Add the ice cubes and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk until you reach the desired consistency.

Pour the smoothie into glasses. Sip and enjoy with your little ones!

Hope you give this smoothie a try! It’s a great way to incorporate more protein into their diet while treating them to something delicious and feels like a treat. I won’t tell if you don’t. ;)
